You Are Not Alone!

I know how painful it can be to feel unworthy… undeserving… unlovable… alone… because I experienced it all myself.

So I know that the longer we allow ourselves to live this way, the more pain we bring to ourselves and our loved ones. These beliefs are so fundamental that they impact every area of our lives. But it doesn’t have to be this way. You, like I… and like so many others… can transition away from these unfulfilling life patterns. My friend, you are not alone… we can — and we will — work together to make real, lasting changes.

​How Did We Get This Way?​​

Each of us is unique, so the factors that influence the way we feel about ourselves — and how we act in our relationships — are unique as well. They may include:

  • How we were — or weren’t — nurtured and supported in the past
  • Unhealed wounds and traumas
  • Cultural pressures, like Janteloven
  • Unrealistic marketing ideals and advertising pressures (our appearance, our wealth, our social standing, and more)

It’s quite amazing that we can adapt to survive almost any situation. But sadly, when we lack a wise, loving presence in our lives to help guide us through our biggest challenges, we all too often cope with the pain by closing our hearts.

But while this works in the short term, it leads to a much deeper crack in the foundation of our being… disconnecting us from the unconditionally loving and aware presence that we fundamentally ARE.

Without this connection, we struggle to access wisdom and our intuition. Compulsive thinking takes over, making us far more emotionally reactive. And finally, we become starved for love… needy… and our self-esteem plunges. And this, in turn, damages our relationships with our partners, children, parents, friends, co-workers… and everyone around us.

How Will This Retreat Help Me?

This retreat is designed to help you heal your core wounds and regain full access to the gentle, yet powerful and loving being you are.

First, we create a safe and sacred space for us to be together in mutual support and respect. Once we ignite your radiant inner light, we’ll explore how to bring the very best of YOU into your most important relationships.

There is a great deal of power in doing this together as a supportive, loving group.

As each of us works through our own challenges, we free and release our individual energy… and this combined wave propels us much further than if we were to do this alone. Everything becomes easier, challenges drop away, and inspiration swells, filling the room.

Day 1: Discovering a Loving Relationship With Yourself

On the first day, we’ll experience different ways of reconnecting with your beautiful essence. With guidance, you’ll find yourself able to do this with ease. By connecting with the love and compassion alive within you, you’ll feel fully empowered and ready to release the pain and wounds that have impacted you for so many years.

We’ll then clear pain and destructive patterns through a variety of powerful, synergistic practices. You’ll wash away old patterns that once protected you, but have now became the chains that bind you. You’ll become far more free to once again be the loving, light-hearted, creative being you were born to be… NOW.

This will open you to greater depths within, bringing forth a “richer”, more free and joyful version of you.

Then, having settled into this sense of greater inner ease and openness, it will be time to let curiosity have some play time. You’ll be guided to tune into different aspects of yourself… some familiar, some forgotten, and some as yet unknown but waiting to be discovered.

And once you have played with all of this, we’ll turn toward sustaining this new way of Being in Love with yourself, and being in “flow states.”


Day 2: Bringing Loving Presence Into Your Relationships With Others

Bodhi Quote: Deep listening, in presence, brings warmth to those around us. It's intimate, connecting, unifying.

On the second day, we’ll transition from your relationship with yourself to your relationship with others… your primary partner… your family… your friends… your co-workers. After choosing your focus, you’ll practice bringing the Loving Awareness you are into your relationships with others.

We’ll start by working on being in presence, first, in silence. Then we’ll “graduate” to being in presence with others. Once you discover the ease with which you can move into presence, you’ll identify triggers that have often challenged you, using them to create “real life” situations so you can practice your flow in presence in your everyday life.

Another way we work to improve your relationships is to broaden and deepen your ability to truly HEAR what is expressed. We’ll explore different ways to listen deeply… some familiar, and some brand new ways of listening, to gain a much deeper understanding of others. And we’ll practice how to fully listen without making what is being said about you… that’s the beauty of listening in a state of presence.

It is my sincere intention that you leave the retreat fully inspired… more joyful… and ready to show up as a loving presence for yourself… and in all of your relationships.

During the retreat, there will be time and space for you a little individual attention, if you so desire. I will also offer vibrational support if energy healing is an interest. There is no extra charge for these offerings.

Registration & Practical Info

Registration for the retreat is as follows (with no VAT for this event):

  • Early Bird Registration: 1750 kr. (until 31. May 2019)
  • Regular Registration: 1950 kr.

Date and Time

We will start right at 10.00 to ensure we can really dive into our process together. Please arrive no later than 9.45 to get settled and ready for fun!

Schedule

  • Saturday: 7. September 2019 — 10.00 to 17.00
  • Sunday: 8. September 2019 — 10.00 to 16.30

Location

Sussanne Wexø's Life Lounge is a lovely space to come together in retreat. It is in central Copenhagen on a quiet street with many nice cafes for anyone who chooses to go outside for lunch.

Food & Lodging

Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. For lunch you can choose to stay in the sacred space we're sharing or you can go out to one of the really nice cafes in the neighborhood. There is a refrigerator for food and beverages.

This retreat is a "non-residential" retreat, meaning everyone will be responsible for their own lodging. If you are traveling from afar and need a place to stay, please let us know and we will reach out to our extensive loving community to see who has room for you to stay in their home. Please do feel free to ask.

Cancellation Policy

  • For cancellations before 10. August 2019, 80% of the registration fee, less fees, will be refunded.
  • For cancellations before 24. August 2019, 50% of the registration fee, less fees, will be refunded.
  • For cancellations 24. August 2019 or later, there will be no registration refund.
